How are you using the rosette pattern in your tatting

I'm working on designing a bonnet pattern. How about you? What will you use it for? Embellishments? a doily, baby blanket? What will it be?

Edited Rosette

While I liked my rosette the way that it was, I found that one small change was needed to make it better. Thus, I've made that change so that you can enjoy it the way that I do it now. I always want to do things the easy and better way. I think I've accomplished both with the changes. Hope you enjoy it.

Latest Design

Please ignore the part on the right (it's already been snipped off) and much more lace has been worked.

This is my latest design that I call Elephant Tatted Lace. Can you see the Elephant?

I'm making this lace for a dear sweet friend of mine. She'll be stitching it to the hem of a skirt. I hope she'll email me a picture after she's done with it. I can't wait to see it. This is a pattern that I'll put on www.bellaonline.com/site/tatting once I figure out how to embed a picture into the articles.

Not being lazy

No, I've not been lazy. In fact, I've been extremely busy with my tatting. I've been attempting to clean out the old files at BellaOnline/tatting but, it's such a huge undertaking, I'm afraid it will take me a month of Sunday's before I have the task completed. In the meantime, I'm tatting lace, designing a necklace and have started designing some baby booties. Since I can no longer find the free online pattern (along with the picture), I figured that others are trying to find it as well. And, I was right. My readers have contacted me about the matter. The best I have been able to do is to point them to the archives at www.waybackmachine.com and have them put the old link in there. I was able to find one that was unbroken with hand drawn pictures of the diagrams but, that's the best I could come up with.

Thus, I'm working on my own pattern. I'll be sure to let eerybody know when I do finally get it finished. I'll have it available for free (for a short time only). so, if you're looking for a free tatted bootie pattern, you'll have to make sure you're following my thread and snag it when it's up. After that short time, it'll be withdrawn and put into the book I'm working on.
